We are very excited and proud to announce the first annual Decatur International Dance Festival located in Decatur, Georgia. The festival will offer dance classes, seminars, dance film screenings and weekend performances. It will also showcase local dancers and choreographers and present classes with master teachers and professionals from around the world. 
 
The Festival’s mission is to support dance creation, presentation, education, and preservation; and to engage and deepen public appreciation and support for dance and related dance arts.    It is our desire to make Decatur, Georgia an international hub for dance; and, in doing so, support local emerging and established choreographers, thus giving them an international presence. This sharing of the arts serves to strengthen the level of participation of local artists on the world stage.
